Lovatt & Ricketts Beaufort Eventer saddle

XW tree, secure 18 inch seat, sits like a 17 inch. I am 5’4” with a long leg, and it fits me rather nicely. 15 inch flap, 7 inch gullet measured between the nails. Serial number 14391. Billets are sound. Wool-flocked panels in excellent condition, tree is sound and tight, leather in very good condition, black in color. Leathers and stainless steel fillis irons included.

I bought this saddle from a lady in Ireland, who used it to hunt and event on her Irish Draughts – she assured me it would fit my big Irish Draught stallion to perfection, which it does. Due to a deteriorating knee I can no longer ride jumpers, so it’s time for this very nice saddle to find a new home with someone who can use it.
